A Spectacular Winter Event For All The Family!

The World Sleddog Association is delighted to announce that our British member AMWA is hosting the WSA Dryland World Championship 2019.

With over 200 competitors from around the world, the race provides 5km of thrilling competitiveness within the beautiful setting of the Sussex Countryside. Held at Firle Country Estate in the South Downs National Park with a spectacular Christmas Market providing 2 days of magical merriment.

Meet the Huskies and Discover Sled Dogs make this a wonderful winter experience for adults and families.

Supporting Education & Adoption

Through discover sleddogs meet the official KC breed clubs & discover the history and care required to look after these magnificent dogs.

Meet a husky and support the Siberian Husky Welfare Association (SHWA) in the education and adoption of unwanted huskies.

Race Dog Welfare

All dogs are thoroughly checked by an appointed race vet prior to competing and at the finish line.
There is no financial gain made from the racing.
Event temperatures and conditions are regularly monitored for the dogs to run safely.Its important to us that the dogs enjoy their work and stay healthy.
